The 3 colour Desert battle uniform was chosen to replace the 6 colour (Chocolate Chip Camo)that was made famous by General Schwarzkopf in the Gulf War. US Army may have left so many of these uniforms behind in the desert that when they went back, they realized that they would be wearing the same dress as another Lady at the Ball. So they got a new Ball Gown. Three colour desert(Coffee stain Camo) is a non-camo camo pant. they are a lovely tan with an occasional splotch of Coyote brown. Once faded with a few battles under their belts they are quiet lovely. Most people would not identify these as Camouflage as quicklly as say MultiCam or Classic GI JOE Woodland.
