In the Late 1990s the CF designed a tough Duck type material vest, that has a few nick names. The “Fishing Vest”  the “Tactical Duffle Bag” vest  or LBV Load Bearing Vest.

Operationally it was a good vest. Lots of storage space On the Back and the waist, Zippered front, Over sized to wear over Armour and cold weather gear.

4 Magazine pockets and a few places to slide 1 inch nylon webbing to secure odds n ends.

D rings to hang your Gas Mask Bag Three large pockets to stow personal and operational items

The large pocket across the back for Rain wear, Small pockets for Sharpie markers and two sleeves front and back to hold Armour plates.

A suede patch to butt your Rifle to.

Now it makes an excellent vest for hiking with all your EDC and other survival gear.

Wide openings for your arms so there’s no restricted motion. and a Draw cord at the waist, to help hold things in place.
