Description

Key Characteristics:

• Design: A knife bayonet, essentially a No. 4 socket with the blade of the No. 5 “Jungle Carbine” bayonet.
• Blade: ~6.5-8 inches long (200mm), often blued, with a clip point and single fuller, sometimes with a sharpened edge.
• Socket: Fits the No. 4 Lee-Enfield rifle and Sten Mk V submachine gun.

Usage:

• Last socket bayonet for the No. 4 Lee-Enfield rifle.
• Also compatible with the Sten gun.
• Served as a dual-purpose knife and rifle extension. 

• Often used the No. 5 Mk I scabbard (Wilkinson).
